Stanley Road will be closed in both directions between Commercial Road and Boundary Street from Wednesday 22 April 2026 for approximately 2 nights, between 1900 and 0600 each night.

Lower House Lane will be closed from just before the junction of Utting Avenue East to the junction of Storrington Avenue in both directions. Storrington Avenue will be severed at the junction of the left turn with Lower House Lane. Utting Avenue East will be severed at the junction of Cottesbrook Road and Carsington Road.
The closure is expected to be in place for 2 weeks, Monday to Friday only from 1900 until 0300.
Service 14/14A
From Liverpool will travel as normal to Townsend Avenue this service will continue on Townsend Avenue, then via East Lancashire Road, Stonebridge Lane, Altcross Road then as normal route to Croxteth and Kirkby (omitting Utting Avenue East and Storrington Avenue).
This service will call at Townsend Avenue, near Broadway and Altcross Road, near Standard Road.
From Kirkby and Croxteth will travel as normal to Altcross Road, then via Stonebridge Lane, East Lancashire Road, Townsend Avenue, Broadway Roundabout then as normal route to Liverpool (omitting Storrington Avenue and Utting Avenue East).
This service will call at Altcross Road, near Sceptre Road and Townsend Avenue, near Broadway.
Service 62
From Bootle will travel as normal to Lower Lane then via East Lancashire Road, Stonebridge Lane, Croxteth Hall Lane, Oak Lane, Muirhead Avenue East then as normal route to Penny Lane (omitting Lower House Lane and Dwerryhouse Lane).
This service will call at Lower Lane, near East Lancashire Road and Murihead Avenue East, near Oak Lane.
From Penny Lane will travel as normal to Muirhead Avenue East, then via Oak Lane, Croxteth Hall Lane, Stonebridge Lane, East Lancashire Road, to Lower Lane then as normal route to Bootle (omitting Dwerryhouse Lane and Lower House Lane).
This service will call at Murihead Avenue East, near Dwerryhouse Lane and Lower Lane, near East Lancashire Road.
Diversion on the 47, 52, 52A, 53, 54, 54A, 55, 55D, 58, 58A, 60, 62, 144 & 300
Merton Road and Stanley Road (Inbound only) will be closed from Tuesday 7 April 2026 for approximately 3 weeks.
