Bus travel in Knottingley

From the Victorian era, Knottingley became a centre for glass production and glass bottle making continues to be one of the main industries in the town. Kellingley Colliery produced coal just to the east of Knottingley. It was the last deep coal mine in the UK when it closed at the end of 2015. The town has plenty of pubs and local restaurants of many cuisines.
