Kids go free North East

3 weeks ago Wed 1st Apr 2026

This Easter holiday, kids can travel for free across the North East! Until Sunday 19th April, up to three children aged 11 and under can travel FREE on any Arriva North East service, all day, every day, when accompanied by a fare-paying adult or an adult with a valid travel pass*.

Even better, adults can travel for no more than £2.50 in the Tyne and Wear area and £3 in the Tees Valley area, making it easier than ever to enjoy a family day out for less.

Travelling by bus is stress-free and lets the adventure begin from the moment you step onboard no parking, no hassle, just quality time together.
