Service Changes in Tunbridge Wells April 2026

From 19 April 2026 we will be making the following changes to our Tunbridge Wells network:

Service 7 - The Monday - Friday (school day only) daytime off-peak service will be increased from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes, with these journeys being extended from Tunbridge Wells Station to Tunbridge Wells Sainsbury's. There will also be an additional late-night journey from Tunbridge Wells on Saturdays. This will mean there is a 10 minute combined frequency along with service 402 between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

Service 218 – There will be a change to the current Monday – Friday, 1538 (school journey) from Tunbridge Wells Hospital – from Weald of Kent School, the bus will follow a new route and will no longer serve Hectorage Road or Lodge Oak Lane.

Service 219 – The current 0732 departure from Quarry Hill Parade will depart 4 minutes later to meet demand for passengers arriving on the 0730 train who are on their way to the hospital.

Service 402 – There will be a timetable change to improve punctuality, and the Monday–Friday (school‑day only) off‑peak service will increase from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes. These journeys will also be extended from Tunbridge Wells Station to Tunbridge Wells Sainsbury’s, creating a combined 10‑minute frequency with Service 7 between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
