Diversion in place on the 229 on Jeremy Lane, Heckmondwike due to temporary roadworks narrowing width of road making it impassable.
All 229 services will be diverting via Bridge Street, New North Road and Leeds Old Road between Heckmondwike and Alma Lane.

Towards Bradford it will carry straight ahead at Country baskets and turn left at Black Gates School (Smithy Lane). It will turn right, back onto Westerton road and its normal route.
Towards Wakefield it will turn left onto Constable Road towards Black gates school, it will then turn right on the A650 (Bradford Road) past country baskets and back onto original route.
